A Community That
Shows Up
Safe Space is a nonprofit that helps survivors of domestic
violence move toward stability through compassionate,
survivor-centered assistance.
Our Mission
Safe Space empowers survivors of domestic violence by providing compassionate support, advocacy, and resources that help them move beyond crisis into safety, healing, and independence.
At Safe Space, we believe survival is only the beginning. Our work centers survivors with dignity, respect, and choice, meeting them where they are and walking alongside them as they navigate safety, healing, and long-term stability. Through advocacy, education, and community collaboration, we help survivors access the tools and support they need to reclaim control over their lives and build a future free from violence.
Our Vision
A world where every survivor of domestic violence has access to safety, support, and the opportunity to live free from fear.
We envision communities where survivors are believed, supported, and empowered — not silenced or isolated. A world where safety is not a privilege, but a right. Through awareness, action, and collective responsibility, Safe Space works toward a future where domestic violence is addressed with urgency, compassion, and accountability, and where every person has a true safe space to heal and thrive.
The Values We Live By
These core principles guide every decision we make and every interaction we have with
those we serve.
Survivor-First
Survivors are at the center of everything we do. We honor their courage, respect their choices, and believe they are the experts of their own lives.
Dignity & Compassion
We meet every survivor with empathy, respect, and care — without judgment, pressure, or blame. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity.
Safety Through Action
Silence doesn’t save lives — action does. We are committed to meaningful, practical support that helps survivors move toward safety, healing, and independence.
Meet Our Founders
A dedicated group of professionals committed to making a difference every single day.
Safe space exists because lasting change doesn't happen in isolation. it happens when communities show up together. We brings survivors, partners, and advocates alongside one another to create pathways from crisis to stability.
Safe Space was founded by a group of women committed to building survivor-centered solutions rooted in dignity, accountability, and community.
